Where Did It (Mostly) All Go Wrong?

Here we are, it's Sunday night. An amazing sports weekend in the great state of Michigan is coming to a close. Well, it was an amazing sports weekend if you're not a fan of the Lions or the Spartans. I, as it happens to be, am a fan of both. This is why I ask you, where did it (mostly) all go wrong??

Thank goodness for the Tigers! The series against the Yankees was awesome. The last two games of that series may have been the two finest Tiger games I've seen since the 1984 playoffs. Ok, the last game of the 1987 season against the Blue Jays was pretty damn good. Frank Tanana was awesome that day. The performances by Kenny Rogers and Jeremy Bonderman over the weekend were something all Tiger fans can be proud of. I hope they can keep it going against Oakland.

I regress and move on to the Spartans. Why is John L Smith still the coach? I encourage you, heck I urge you, to visit http://firejohnlsmith.net/ and sign the petition to get rid of this guy. While you're at it, visit http://www.firemillen.com/ and help save the Lions!

Congrats to Brian Vickers for getting his first win in NASCAR. Too bad the litte bastard had to wreck Jimmie Johnson and Dale Jr. to get it.

Still no baby. We're twelve days away from Holly's due date. She's doing very good, but we're both ready for Benjamin to come out and join us!!

PS - Happy birthday Chevy Chase and Bill Elliott

I'm Dennis Lake, and I'm out. Josh McCown anyone??
